Waste of Book Shelf Space

There are next to no full recipes in this book for anything you would actually like to make from the Loveless Cafe. Do you enjoy their fried Chicken? Recipe requires Loveless Cafe Fried Chicken Breading. Biscuits? Loveless Cafe Biscuit Mix. This is just a small sample, but I'd save your money and buy the Martin's BBQ cookbook. They give you full recipes, seasoning blends and sauce recipes- even if you need to dig a smoking pit to make some of it. This book is a complete joke. Just look up copy cat recipes online.

Amazing cookbook!

I should have read it before buying it

I bought this while I was visiting the Loveless with my family and thought it would be a nice cookbook to add to my collection. It does have some great recipes but you won’t be getting the biscuit recipe and the mix is called for in quite a few of the recipes. I do understand why they wouldn’t want to let that secret out of the bag but they also gatekeep the pancakes, waffles, and fried chicken breading. It feels like half of the recipes in this book tell you to use a mix. I don’t need a cookbook book to tell me to use a mix. I wouldn’t buy a cookbook book if I wanted to use a mix.
