Experience pure bacon bliss with our Hickory Smoked Bacon, a mouthwatering masterpiece that adds a smokey twist to every bite! Our premium bacon slabs are hand-selected and cured with the highest quality blend of just three ingredients. Crafted with care, our newest addition is slow-smoked with Hickory wood that encourages a nice, crispy texture and an irresistible flavor that'll make your tastebuds sing. One bite, and you'll be hooked!

Our bacon is dry-rubbed with salt and sugar. The slow curing allows the mixture to absorb into the slab. Next, the country bacon goes to a smokehouse where it is naturally smoked with hickory wood. The smoke produces a golden brown finish. No water is added so it won't shrink like those other bacons you may have tried. This bacon is sliced 1/8 inch thick and each package is 14oz.

*Hickory Smoked bacon is USDA approved out of refrigeration for up to 7 days. We do not pack these meat items with coolant.*

In rare circumstances when an item becomes unavailable, we may substitute one or more of the items included in this gift set to ensure timely delivery. All substitutions will be made with items of greater or equal value at no additional cost. We also make every effort to maintain the overall theme of your gift set by substituting a similar product.

Set Includes: 4 packages of 14 oz. Hickory Smoked Country Bacon

Cooking Instructions:

To Pan Fry: Place bacon slices in a cold skillet. Cook slowly over heat and turn until slightly crisp, draining excess drippings as required. Remove each slice as it browns and drain on paper towels.

To Microwave: Place bacon strips between paper towels. Cook 4 slices on high setting for 3 minutes. Then cook at 30 seconds intervals until desired crispness. Microwave temperatures and personal preferences vary.

To Bake: Place bacon strips on a baking sheet (that has sides to contain drippings) and place in the center rack of a cold oven. Turn oven on to 400° F and check bacon in 15 minutes. Remove as soon as bacon is golden brown, but not excessively crisp. Cooking times can vary depending on how quickly oven reaches temperature. You will notice when cooking Loveless Cafe bacon that it does not shrink as much as typical grocery store bacon. This is due to the old-fashioned dry curing method used with Loveless Cafe Bacon.

PLEASE NOTE: Flavored bacons are best cooked using the oven method.

Applewood Smoked Bacon, Hickory Smoked Pepper Bacon, Maplewood Smoked Bacon, Hickory Smoked Bacon, Country Ham Slices, Half Country Hams, and Country Ham Pieces are USDA-approved shelf-stable products, good out of refrigeration for up to 7 days. These items will not be shipped with coolant. We ship using USPS or UPS and they will arrive usually within 2-3 business days.

Orders generally ship the business day after they are placed (Monday - Wednesday). Additional processing days will occur in November and December. We do not ship our meat items or meat gift sets internationally.
