Stone Ground Grits

For those of you who don't like standing over a pot and stirring, try making these grits in your crock pot. Amazingly good and so easy. I used the following recipe: 1 cup grits, 4 cups organic chicken broth, 2 T. butter, and 2/3 cup whole milk. I cooked them (covered, of course) on LOW for 4 hours, stirred once, and then did another 3 hours or so, until the texture was right. Then I added 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, some chopped fresh parsley, a generous grinding of pepper, and a sprinkle of garlic powder. The results were delicious! This fed two people generously, with enough left over to make some fried grit cakes another day. Amazing comfort food!

Our in-laws finally opened and tried your stone ground grits which they had purchased during a recent trip (with us) to Nashville. They were ecstatic about them - never tasted anything better. They asked us to bring some back next time we were there to visit our daughter. I sprung into action and went online, happy to discover I could order another bag of grits pronto! Thanks for the goodness!

Never had grits until the summer of 2017 at the Loveless Cafe and they were FANTASTIC. Had them several other places along the way on our 3 week camping trip and Loveless were the best. We purchased a bag while we were there along with some preserves and have ordered them since, and I the biscuit mix. Just SCRUMPTIOUS

I am one of the southerners that love grits; and I truly enjoyed Loveless Cafe's grits. If I needed to contact their customer service department, the issue was handled promptly and professionally. All their products are yummy!
